It All Starts in My Head

In a N2Growth Blog Michael Hyatt, Chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers, was interviewed about leadership. In that interview he made a fantastic statement:
What was the single biggest “ah-ha” moment you’ve had as a leader?
When I realized that my thinking had a direct impact on my actions which had a direct impact on my outcomes. It all starts in my head.
When it’s time to start a new project do you stop short because of an inner-doubt or push through because of an inner-peace? The confidence needed to live an artful life happens through a confidence that you can learn from failure as much as success. If each new adventure is started with the your thoughts centered and focused on the process of success you are on the right path to see that success.
"YOU DO NOT ASK HOW THE THE GOOD FRUIT FOLLOWS FROM THE GOODNESS OF A TREE. FROM BEING COMES ACTION. BE STILL. THERE IS GRACE TO COME. THE CREATIVE DEPTH IS THE DEPTH WHEN WE ARE QUITE."

What do you do to focus your mind to help achieve desired outcomes? How do you focus and reflect?
